RECORD SET: Pistorius Signs $15M Endorsement Deal From Prison

Former Olympic and Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius who was sentenced to six years in jail for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, on Wednesday morning has signed the biggest endorsement deal ever.

The deal, which is to endorse a new sporting company in South Africa sees the prisoner bagging $15M.

This is the first time in the world for a prisoner to land at endorsement deals.

This information was leaked to the public by Prison officers and also a staff at the sporting company but we have been tight lipped till the company officially announces.

Oscar Pistorius will serve six years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

The sentence is far less than South Africa’s usual 15-year minimum. Talking about the mitigating factors, Judge Thokozile Masipa said Pistorius was “vulnerable” without his protheses and had taken immediate steps to try to save Steenkamp’s life after she was shot.
